Just a few pictures from the Fall Festival last night. Yeah for me I actually brought the camera, Boo for me I did not remember to bring batteries...but hey, at least we got a few pictures this time. The teens were AWESOME last night running the food booths. Matt and I just basically stood there and acted like we knew what was going on when in reality I wasn't sure how to run the machines! :) But the kids were unbelievable and I just love that we get to hang out with them! Thanks guys!
Kaden and Caleb had a great time. If we let them they would've stayed in the cardboard box maze all night but we did force them out after a while and they moved onto the bouncey castle and watching people get dunked in the dunk tank. Kaden wasn't really into playing the games (which is how you won candy) but that's fine ...less candy for mommy and daddy to eat that way. He did win a cake in the cake walk for the first time in three years. The poor child was so upset he didn't win last year that people were still talking about it this year! And what cake did he choose....the one that mommy brought! He said he picked it cause we made it together and it was special! So sweet but still seemed to defeat the purpose! :) Caleb also got to enjoy his first sucker and then whenver we walked by any candy he would start digging through to find more!
Matt did the dunk tank and was a real trooper since he was the last one to go and it was getting cold. Yes, I dunked him but felt awful afterwards! His back is completely torn up from sliding down the seat into the water. The seat has metal bolts on it and ....yeah it's bad. Poor baby! At least the teens and I had fun dunking him! :) The picture of Fireman Kaden is him with one of his favorite church friends Madison watching Daddy get dunked.
