Priceless

Kensington in her bloomers :)
Precious Dress
Aren't I pretty :)

Thanks for helping me stand Big Brother

I am so blessed that my Grandma, Kensie's Great-Grandma (and her name sake Kensington ELEANOR Rose), agreed to make her a dress! This is such a priceless gift. I have so many fond memories of wearing dresses that my Grandma made for me and I am so thankful to have this treasure for Kensington. Thank you Lord for the blessing of Family and the love that they have for us. I just LOVE the dainty flowers, the pink ribbon, and the panties to match! :) Just like getting to dress up a doll.

Here it is...Lord Willing

Our New Home
Coming in the front door
Looking back at the front door. My favorite is the window seat!
Kitchen. Boys are so excited to eat breakfast at the island. I am excited to make cookies at the island. :)
View from kitchen into the family room and window looks into the backyard...yes that is SNOW in the backyard.
Standing in the family rom looking up at where the bedrooms are.
Backyard complete with snow. The brick thing on the side is actually a grill.

So here are a few pictures of the New House! Lord willing, we will close at the end of March. We are so excited about this new home( even though I specifically asked Matt for a home with no snow. :)...and I am trying desperatly not to be overwhelmed by all the white walls. I want to paint, but the thought of having to pick out all the colors and actually do the painting makes me tired! :) Any suggestions or advice is very much welcomed! We are just so blessed by how God continues to lead and provide for our family. Feel free to start booking Colorado vacations! Not pictured here is a fabulous basement complete with guest room and full bath! :)

9 Months...and 10 Months!

Hiking in Big Basen
Get ready...set...lung forward...and sit back down
Yes, I am playing on the floor in my pajamas and pink tutu!
my favorite little scrunchy face
"Ba Ba Ba Ba Ba" or in Kensington speak, hello, goodbye, and ball. :) I missed posting Kensington's nine month update due to some very busy but very fabulous weeks in January, so we're just skipping to the 10 month update....WOW!!! 10 months! I still can't wrap my mind around that. Doesn't even seem possible that she'll be one in just 2 months. Yeah...I can't even fathom that. Seems like just yesterday she was that tiny 6 lb. baby! I guess she's still "tiny" our little princess is tipping the scale at 17 lbs. 5 in., she may be little but she is determined! I've never met a baby that is so squirmy and focused. She knows what she wants and will grab at it or wiggle to it in order to satisfy her curiosity. Which is a big feat considering she still only scoots backwards. She continues to amaze and endear us each day. I am overwhelmed with gratitude each morning when I walk into her room and look into those happy beautiful blue eyes. I am daily thrilled and humbled by this precious precious gift the Lord has entrusted to us. She continues to make shopping or public outings difficult as we are consistently stopped and oohed and awed over. :) We drink it all in, and my prayer is that she will always know she is beautiful inside and out because of Christ in her and that her life will be lived to bring God glory. All that being said...here is the run down...

I like:
My mama
My brothers...both of them equally now
My daddy when he plays on the floor with me and gives my baths and our special Wednesday dates.
Being tickled
Real Food
Drinking out of a big cup
Playing with my basket of toys
Playing with anything my brothers are playing with
Meeting new people
Being complimented
Nursery at church
Snuggling with pink fuzzy blankets
My thumb

I don't like:
Teething!
Being taken away from Mama when I don't want to go
Riding in the car to pick up brothers, I don't fuss but I'm not thrilled either
Being bonked in the head over and over and over again
Getting stuck under furniture when I get going backwards
Falling on my face when I forget to catch myself when I lunge forward
Getting into the crawl position and not being able to go anywhere, I just lay my head down and start sucking my thumb.
Having things taken out of my hands
Not getting fed fast enough

Firsts
I'm working on my first set of teeth...four at one time. I share my suffering with everyone
around me by whimpering and whining. :)
Ear Infection and antibiotics, I really like my medicine
Blow out at Target, and new outfit to shop with (thank you antibiotics)
Christmas!!! It was spectacular. Lots of family and lots of fun!
New Year...I slept through that
And lots more, but Mommy's to tired to remember :)

Crazy Hair Night

Caleb looks like he's howling at the moon. :)
I think Caleb's hair makes him look like Wolverine :) ... maybe that why he's howling at the moon.

Last week was Crazy Hair night at Awana. The boys really wanted red and blue hair but I couldn't find any of the hair dye so we did the best we could. They had a lot of fun spiking their hair up. Caleb wanted doggy hair (hence the pointed "ears") and Kaden had half his hair slicked down and half spiked up. His own creation. I wore a bow in my hair. Pretty crazy for me. :)
Hope everyone is having a great weekend. We love you.

This weekend

Matt is flying out to Colorado Springs this weekend for house hunting! Makes it really really real! I'm so excited for him, and know that he will do a great job figuring out which home God has for us.
For those of us left at home, it will be a weekend of sleep overs, birthday parties (2), and teething. Sweet Kensington is showing her true princess side. She's been down with fevers for a couple of days, teething is my guess, and she just whimpers, whines, cuddles, and snuggles her fuzzy pink blanket. :) So sad but so sweet.
So thankful for God's provision each day, breath for each moment, the health and strength to do what He has called us to do, and hope for our future. Jesus loves you!
