Our safari room. So great to show up and have everything set up, decorated, and ready for us.
Waiting to meet a special zoo friend...
Not the most exciting thing, but Caleb was very excited to meet our friend turtle.
Birthday girl waiting her turn to touch the turtle.
Maybe I'll touch the turtle
ok...just a little pet
On to the giraffes the highlight of the day! We love our giraffes!
So fun to get to pet and feed them!
We also got to feed the Meerkats some crasians this was very special as this was special only for the party.
In case you were wondering...this is a meerkat. :)
Hello little Meerkat...look but don't touch...they bite!
Meet Elson the Lion...his name makes me giggle. :) We did not get to feed him.
Our fabulous zoo keeper telling us all about Elson and his girls.
Birthday Princess on the carousel. So fun to get to take everyone on a ride! She LOVED it!
Here come Sir Kaden and Sir Thaddeus on their trusty steeds.
Kensie riding her inflatable lion, her gift from the zoo. :)
One picture of Kensie with the giraffe she is trying to stick her tongue out like his.
All Done! Cold, tired, but had so much fun!

Just a few pictures from Kensington's special birthday party! So glad that we could bless her this way, and this was by far the best birthday party we've ever hosted! So stress free and so fun...despite the snow! Thank you Lord for our precious birthday princess!

So it's been a while...

What dad likes to do when he comes for a visit...build 30 ft of scaffolding to change my lightbulbs! :)
Granny came out to Colorado to visit with my dad. Four generations.
Our little princess...
And our silly prince and princess
We took a trip to Texas over spring break. Here's Grandma with some of her babies.

So...Life happens and I'm sorry that's it been a LONG time since I've posted...I know you've all been anxiously checking each day :) But taking a late night quite moment to catch up on a few things. We are doing well. We are experiencing our share of ups and downs, following the Lord and trying to learn from Him so that we can be poured out for Him. Thankful for each new day and the adventure it brings. Focusing on the blessings and giving praise.
One fun praise for tomorrow is Kensington's 2nd birthday party at the zoo! And despite the fact that it's supposed to be in the 40s with a chance of rain, Kensington has an ear infection, Kaden's complaining of tummy aches, and Caleb and mommy with pink eye...we're going to enjoy celebrating our baby girl! :) Pictures to come...soon. :)

Just wanted to put up a few pictures of Kensie so everyone can enjoy her as she grows. Hard to believe she is 20 months old! She has quite the personality and brings lots of added laughs to our family. Her favorite thing to say right now is, "Mooooore!" Love to you all!

Last couple of weeks

A gazebo in this little mountain town we like to visit.

Kensington just loves to quack at the ducks...the highlight of her day
Precious friendships that make us family
The precious Aquino Family
Trying to get everyone to pose at one time with the Air Force Academy in the background...we're two kids short...Baby was sleeping and Kaden was at school.
Best of Friends
Outside the Air Force Cadet Chapel
Pointing to Matt's class year on the wall

Over the last couple of weeks we have been very blessed to have visits from some treasured friends. Firs,t the Aquino family came out to see us for a long weekend and we enjoyed football games, the zoo, mountain towns, and just being together. Such treasured memories and the time flew by way to fast.
A week later the Allan family came out to see us...and boy was it busy with seven little ones running around, but we were so blessed to have the time together that we did. We are so grateful for all the precious and sometimes stressful moments we get to hold onto forever.
We are so so thankful for the friendships that God has brought into our lives and feel so undeserving of the love that we are given! We miss you guys!
Life is slowly returning to "normal". Still busy but I'm working on making sure that I take the time to enjoy all the moments that each day holds. Have a blessed weekend~
